Well first off tonight I arrived at Whitburn, thought it was a bit quiet, then realised this was a reverse fixture at Birtley.
Hopped over the wall to South Shields with Martin and Adam with Peter and Stuart from Brancepeth Castle not a curly wurly in site but two cracking tee shots from Jeff and Adam.
Got to Birtley with Chris and Alex, along with Perry and David from Whitburn, we had a bit of crack about my episode to Whitburn , a bounty bar and bottle of water did the trick.
Look forward to meeting up again at Whitburn for the Alan Curtis Scratch Trophy in September.
