The 2021 Dixon Cup was played at Newbiggin GC on Sunday 12th September.
Well done to Durham City who represented the North Durham League and to the teams from the other Northern Leagues who qualified to play for the Trophy.
Congratulations go to City of Newcastle, the Newcastle and District League winners who win the Trophy and to their best scorer James Walmsley whose 70 gross wins the Individual Best Gross Trophy.
Teeside Union club Bishop Auckland, the holders of the Trophy when it was last played for in 2019 finished Runners up, their best scorer was Wayne Melles with a 71 gross.
The win for City added to a very successful day for them as Andrew Minnikin won the England Golf Mens County Champion of Champions played at Woodhall Spa over the weekend.
