The information below has been sent out by our Secretary following the Executive meeting held on 19th May to clarify some of the issues which face us at this point in the season.

Some of this may seem long winded but best to save and maybe print off for reminders:
ABANDONED LEAGUE MATCHES
The rule states that any matches abandoned must have a rearranged match played within 14 days. Should the rearranged date also be abandoned then a further 7 days will be allowed from the date of the rearranged match.
LEAGUE KNOCK OUT MATCHES
Matches for the 2nd round to be played by 30th May, matches not played by that date will be decided by a toss of a coin with the executives.
The draw for the next round will then be made by zoom on Wed 2nd June which we will send out the link to the remaining teams.
TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SUN 6TH JUNE – RYTON GOLF CLUB
The draw is on the web site, please send you team list to me in order of play 1-5 with that players h/cap index by Wed 2nd June, If one of your players is a member of another club as well please give us his home club details. Should you be unable to field a team for this event please inform us at least 1 week before event as we need to keep the draw up to date. Best 4 gross scores from 5 for the team event best gross and best nett prizes also.
REPORTING RESULTS
So there is no confusion with this league results must be sent by email to myself and Bill Mair, on the night after matches are completed and before you start to host your visitors. If you are busy please delegate someone to do this for you. We pride ourselves on getting the results up and completed by 10:30 on that evening but we can only do this with your help. Not messenger, whatsapp, facebook but by email as myself and Bill can then cross reference before the results are printed..
Tues 22nd June
On this date England play the final group game in the European championships.We have agreed on the executive that those who would rather watch this match than play golf ,we would leave it to the team captains to decide. As long as matches are played by that date no extentions. So I hope you can agree on any way you see to fit this in.
Hope this rain clears soon for you all, I know it has been difficult for you all but I can assure you that you are all doing a great job as Captain of your Clubs
