For the final time this season my roving report, started of at Ravensworth with Joe and Craig along with Ken and Dave from Houghton Le Spring. Next stop at Ramside with Ken and Fossie along with Dave and Peter from Brancepeth Castle, lastly to Whickham with John and Chris along with Peter and Steve from Washington.
What a night with results coming in thick and fast things going one way then another but I must congratulate Brancepeth Castle and Boldon winners and runners up in the first division, Brancepeth Castle will now represent the league in the Dixon cup at the Cleveland Club Redcar on Sun 30th Sept.
Congratulations to winners South Shields and Runners up Ravensworth in the second division and their promotion to the first Division
Also to City of Newcastle winners of the third division with runners up Whickham and their promotion to the second division
As always it is sad that other teams lose their league status as Heworth and Consett go down to the second division and Houghton Le Spring and Ryton go down to the Third division
Lets not forget that we still have South Shields , Heworth and Washington still in the Clark Cup good luck to them all.
